If you're interested in getting the most from your Portable Home Garden, we recommend purchasing the optional wheel kit for your unit. After all, it is a "portable" home garden!
Our first models came equipped with casters/wheel kits already installed. However, feedback from our customers prompted us to offer wheels as an accessory, saving additional costs for those who don't need or want mobility. Although our models are self-contained and portable, with or without wheels, the caster/wheel set allows movement by only one person, whereas, it may take two or more people to move a unit without wheels if a move was desired.
Having wheels allows you the option to move your garden indoors during inclement weather such as a freeze or storm. Most of our models are designed to fit through most exterior doors which are normally 36" wide.
